Children's Ministries is operating on a very limited basis at the moment due to the ongoing restrictions. We have temporarily paused all ministries involving childcare, including nursery, Sunday School, and AWANA.

However we invite you to join us Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. for Family Night, where we worship and study the Bible together. Find details below.

Final Day

Faith Community Church is offering a Day Camp, which allows us to use our indoor space. Day Camps are regulated and approved under the LA County Appendix K guidelines and we have gone over them with a fine toothed comb to make sure that we meet all the requirements.
This will allow us to meet and serve our students indoors once again, something we haven’t been able to do in months.  It will also allow us to begin classes for our youngest attenders, hopefully allowing some more families to join us at Church.  We will begin by offering 3 slots each week, 2 for our younger kids and 1 for our Jr Highers and up.  Day Camp will be staffed by our screened ministry workers, who will employ current COVID-19 safety protocols.  Also, the classrooms have been reconfigured to promote physical distancing between students, while still enabling them to have fun and feel welcomed.

Sunday Day Camp is doing a trial run on Dec 6, 13, and 20, and if those weeks go well we will resume January 10th with any necessary changes in place.

Some of the protocols we will be following:

  • All attendees over the age of 2 are asked to wear a mask.
  • We will be using hand sanitizer or washing hands often, when kids arrive, when they come back from the playground, and when they use the restroom. We have purchased alcohol free hand sanitizer meant specifically for kids.
  • Classrooms have been reconfigured in a distanced but still kid friendly way.
  • Toys are now in single serving buckets. Once 1 child is done playing with it, it will be sanitized and removed from play until the next week. FCC has purchased special disinfectants that are designed to kill Covid-19 and are safe for nurseries and toys.

FCC Day Camp Tuesday Nights:

FCC Day Camp Tuesday Nights will replace our Family Night meeting and feel very similar.  We will have a Gospel lesson, memorize a Bible passage, play games, and fellowship.  Younger than Kinder are welcome if the kids want to come, but the teaching is geared a tab higher.

FCC Day Camp is currently meeting at Faith Community Church on Wednesday nights in the santuary from 6:30-8:30pm!  Be sure to register each week and bring your most stylish mask!  See you next Wednesday!
