Women's Ministries: About

We'd Like To Welcome Marybeth Margrave - Our New Women's Ministry Director!

Marybeth

Marybeth is a longtime member of FCC and has served in a myriad of ways over the years.  She is passionate about investing in the women of Faith and is excited to work with the current Women’s Ministry leadership team.  We are eager to see how God will use her to bless this ministry.

About Women's Ministires:

Ministries that are geared specifically for the women of Faith… for the growth and maturity of each of us, strengthening our walk with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and for building us up in grace and love toward one another.

Objectives

- That we may Glorify the Son.

How? By growing in the knowledge of Jesus together, in faith, wisdom, and maturity, through the careful study of the Holy Scriptures, God’s revealed and inspired Word; by being of one mind, and keeping our focus on honoring and pleasing Christ with our words, thoughts and actions. - Romans 12:1-2

 - That we may Obey the Father

How? By loving those whom Jesus loves. By purposefully seeking to connect to sisters in Christ, serving others, extending mercies to those in need, in sickness or those needing counsel from God’s Word… through a personal, proactive reaching-out toward fellow believers and considering them before ourselves. By loving the lost, by praying for and reaching out toward those around us with the good new of Jesus Christ. - Philippians 2:1-8

 - That we may Embrace the Spirit

How? By allowing the work of the Holy Spirit to bear fruit in our hearts. Often overlooked, the Spirit stretches, encourages and convicts us in a way that bears fruit. This is not only evident in our own life and heart, but overflows into the lives of those around us, to encourage, convict and stretch us; and by being ready to get outside of our precious comfort zone and move in faithful anticipation of His work in our lives. - Ephesians 2:19-22
