I grew up religious, but had no relationship with Christ. In 1998, God saved me through a presentation of the Gospel of Luke. For the first time, I saw that all the plans I had for my life were rooted in self-righteous arrogance as they came crashing down around me. The Gospel brought me to the end of myself, and I repented of my sin and trusted in Christ. After a slow start to the sanctification process, I started getting discipled, began to grow in my faith by leaps and bounds, and a desire for ministry started brewing within me. After moving to CA in 2002 to get trained at The Master’s Seminary, God convinced Pastor Steve to hire me in September 2007, and it has been my joy to co-labor here at Faith ever since.
I am married to Lori, my beautiful and intelligent wife. We have three children: Hudson, Holden, and Harmony. If each of us had the chance to pick anything to do, we would all pick being together for family fun. Along with spending time with my family, I enjoy indoor rowing, studying to teach the Word, grilling/smoking meat, and playing the trombone. I have also always wanted to travel to Outer Space.
My vision for Faith Community Church is to see us build up the body of Christ by: 1.) equipping believers to live out Biblical truth with grace and love, and 2.) evangelizing the lost both here at home and abroad.
